“ Shrimp Boat Manny’s is the best place to eat seafood in Livingston! We came here at the recommendation of a friend that is from Livingston and we were not disappointed! We were greates promptly at the door, and seated quickly! The restaurant is clean and has very quaint sea themed interior! Bathrooms were clean and stocked! Holly was our waitress and she was very friendly and prompt with drinks, and food. She answered all of our questions about the menu and was very knowledgeable! We are extremely satisfied and will definitely be back when we return to Livingston. ”
“ This has become one of my favorite places the food is awesome service was great Madison was our server she was so good she kept checking up on us and making sure we had everything great customer service I will definitely be coming back ”
“ Great food! Gumbo was amazing! Fish and shrimp were seasoned perfectly! Service was spot-on! When I get through Livingston again, I will be back for more! ”
“ We've lived in the area for years and just now tried Shrimp Boat Manny's. We have been missing out! I had the catfish with Mac and cheese and Cajun rice. The fish was fried to perfection. Crispy outside tender inside, and the flavor was phenomenal. The Mac and cheese was delicious. I didn't care for the Cajun rice, but that's probably because my sister in laws recipe is killer. For dessert, we split a deep fried pecan pie. If you only order one thing here, make it this pie. It was unbelievable. The sweet tea was fresh. The waitress is attentive. We will be back often. ”
“ We had a party of 6, with special food restrictions for 1 of our party. Our waitress was Rebecca. She was outstanding and knew the menu forward and backwards. Very attentive and on top of all our needs. She advised us on what would meet our needs, and what needed to be avoided due to allergies. The food was outstanding!! The best etteaufe and gumbo this side of Nawlins. The only thing that might be nice on the menu is “plain Jane” hush puppies for those who can’t handle jalapenos. We even tried the deep fried pecan pie. It was a huge hit. Ask for Rebecca and you won’t be disappointed. ”
“ Great meal, great service! The food was delicious. Loved the grilled catfish, shrimp kebabs, hush puppies and coleslaw. Great local place run by a local family. Read the back of the menu (see photos) for the story of this place with great Cajun heritage. Beautiful stained glass windows. For us Northerners, "boudin" is a pork/shrimp/rice ball. Very tasty. If you want to experience excellent Cajun cuisine, this is the place! ”
“ Good service and atmosphere, food quality was good, restaurant could use an update. ”
“ Despite being very crowded on a stormy afternoon, we enjoyed excellent service and delicious dishes - there was just so much food! Try the Fried Green Tomatoes! ”
